When to Move Forward and When to Politely Step Back
Sometimes a proposal looks promising at first but becomes uncertain after a few discussions. This is normal. Not every interaction should end in marriage.
If important values do not align, or if communication reveals repeated concerns, it is better to step back respectfully. Dragging the process without confidence wastes time for everyone involved.
At the same time, people should not reject a good match over small and unrealistic expectations. The key is to distinguish between a manageable difference and a serious incompatibility.
Mature decisions protect both dignity and time.
